Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and store an encrypted password via Firebase Authentication. We use your email to verify your account, send password reset links, and communicate important service updates.

Content you upload

To create videos, you may upload images, video clips, and audio recordings. These files are stored in our cloud storage (Firebase Storage) under your user account and are used solely to render your videos.

AI-generated content

If you use our script-generation or text-to-speech features, your text prompts are sent to OpenAI to generate scripts and voiceovers. The resulting audio files are stored temporarily to render your video.

Rendered videos

Completed videos are stored temporarily in Amazon S3. Download links expire after 24 hours. We retain metadata (job ID, timestamps, video type) in your render history so you can see past creations.

Subscription and payment information

Payments are processed by PayPal. We do not collect or store your credit card number, bank account, or other sensitive payment details. We receive and store:

PayPal subscription ID
Your selected plan name and credit balance
Subscription status (active, cancelled, expired) and billing cycle dates

Comments

If you leave a comment on our guides, we collect the name you provide (or "Anonymous") and the comment content.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Service, we and our service providers may collect information automatically, including:

IP address, device identifiers, and browser type
Pages viewed, clicks, referring/exit pages, and timestamps
Approximate location (e.g., city/region) derived from IP address

These providers are permitted to use information only to perform services for us under appropriate data-protection agreements.

Data retention

Account data: retained while your account is active. You can delete your account from your dashboard at any time.
Uploaded content: stored while your account is active; deleted when you delete your account.
Rendered videos: download links expire after 24 hours; underlying files are deleted shortly thereafter.
Deletion audit log: when you delete your account, we retain a minimal record (user ID, plan, deletion date) for legal and chargeback-protection purposes.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices

Delete your account: go to Dashboard → Delete Account to permanently remove your profile, uploaded files, and render history.
Cookie controls: use your browser settings to block or delete cookies.
Google Analytics opt-out: use the add-on linked above.
Ad settings: manage Google ad personalization at the link above.

Privacy rights
